By Air and Ferry: The nearest airport to Koh Mak is Trat Airport (TDX). From Trat Airport, you can take a taxi or a shuttle to Laem Ngop Pier, which is about 30 minutes away. At Laem Ngop Pier, there are regular ferry services to Koh Mak. The ferry ride takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on sea conditions. Some resorts on Koh Mak may also offer speedboat transfers for guests arriving at Trat Airport.

By Bus and Ferry: From Bangkok's Eastern Bus Terminal (Ekkamai), you can take a bus to Trat. Buses depart regularly throughout the day, and the journey takes approximately 4-5 hours, depending on traffic. Once in Trat, you can take a taxi or a local songthaew (shared pickup truck) to Laem Ngop Pier. From there, ferries depart to Koh Mak at scheduled times.

By Car and Ferry: If you prefer to drive, you can rent a car from Bangkok and head towards Trat. The journey by car takes approximately 4-5 hours, depending on traffic conditions. Once in Trat, you can park your car at designated parking areas near Laem Ngop Pier and take a ferry to Koh Mak.
