The island is also home to a number of beautiful viewpoints that offer breathtaking panoramas of the surrounding ocean and landscape. One morning, I hiked up to Khao Laem Ya, a national park that extends from the mainland to Koh Samet. The hike was relatively easy and well worth the effort.
