By Air and Ferry: The nearest airports to Koh Tao are Koh Samui Airport (USM) and Surat Thani Airport (URT). From Koh Samui Airport, you can take a taxi to the Nathon Pier, where you can catch a ferry to Koh Tao. The ferry ride from Koh Samui to Koh Tao takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. From Surat Thani Airport, you can take a bus or taxi to the Donsak Pier, followed by a ferry to Koh Tao, with the total travel time being about 4-5 hours.
